
Garjiya Zone
The Garjiya jungle area in Jim Corbett National Park is renowned for its stunning landscapes and is located just 3 kilometers from Ramnagar. The entry point to this zone is the Ringora Gate, also situated 3 kilometers from Ramnagar. Garjiya is a notable competitor to Dhikala in terms of tourist appeal, attracting visitors with its serene environment, dense forests, and spectacular natural beauty. It is one of the most tiger-rich areas in Corbett National Park.
Visitors can enjoy a Jeep safari, with prior booking required for this activity. Additionally, guided forest trails offer an exhilarating experience. The sanctuary’s proximity to Jim Corbett National Park allows tourists to witness Asiatic elephants, tigers, and a variety of other wildlife species in their natural habitat.

When To Visit
The zone is open throughout the year, During the monsoon season, from July to September, the advance booking of safaris is not allowed in the Jhirna zone as the safari can be cancelled for the day if there is heavy rain or bad weather so for the convenience, the day permits for the safaris are issued on the current basis from the counter.
