How And When To Visit Bijrani Forest Home :

The Bijrani Zone at Jim Corbett National Park offers day safaris for wildlife enthusiasts from October 15th to June 30th each year. However, night stays at the Bijrani Forest Rest House are only available from November 15th to June 14th. During the monsoon season, the area is closed to all visitors. To explore the restricted zones, a government permit is required, and staying at the forest lodge necessitates advance room booking. Given the popularity of these accommodations among wildlife lovers, securing a spot without prior booking is nearly impossible.

The Bijrani Forest Rest House is accessible via the Aamdanda Gate, located about 2 km from Ramnagar and 7 km from the rest house itself. Visitors must present their entry permit to the forest guards at the gate and can only enter using authorized vehicles, as walking or using personal vehicles is not permitted. After passing through a 5 km buffer zone, visitors reach the core of the Bijrani ecotourism zone, where the rich, lush wilderness unfolds before them. For an immersive wildlife experience, book your safari and forest lodge well in advance to avoid inconvenience and enjoy the adventure of staying amidst nature.
